Harris wins 3K Tallahassee event

Chase Harris, a seventh-grade student and middle-school cross-country team member at Grace Christian Academy in Bainbridge, participated in and was the overall winner of the Miller Landing Madness 3K on Aug. 29 in Tallahassee, Fla. Harris had a winning time of 11 minutes, 26 seconds in the 1.8-mile event in which 136 runners participated. The 3K race was a pre-season cross-country middle-school distance event for runners of all ages. In conjunction with the 3K race, a 5K cross-country high-school distance event and an 8K were also held.
