Funeral services for Rebecca “Susie” Harris, 83, of Attapulgus, will be held Saturday, Aug. 15, at 11 a.m. at Second Morning M.B. Church in Attapulgus with the Rev. Arthur Hargrett officiating.

Interment will follow in the Elisha and Mary Harris Garden of Peace in Attapulgus with Mrs. Taylor’s grandsons serving as active pallbearers.

Born Sept. 22, 1925, in Attapulgus, Mrs. Taylor died on Aug. 10, 2009, in Conyers, Ga.

Mrs. Harris was a housewife and a member of Mount Olive A.M.E. Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Elijah Taylor.

Survivors include five sons, Dalton E. Taylor, Fredrick Taylor, Namon Taylor, Perry Taylor and Daniel Taylor; two daughters, Cleo Taylor and Patsy Feaster; sisters and brothers and other family and friends.
