Take back our country

When are we as a people of this great country going to stand up and stop being quiet?
When are we going to remember the principles that this country was founded on—”One nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.”
When will we no longer allow all the corruption in Washington to continue unchecked? When will we stand up and proclaim our rights—for a government of the people, by the people and for the people?
If we do not stand up so that our voices can be hear, there will not be a nation left when Washington is done with us. We must stand up united–pick up the phones, pick up the pens and paper, go to the Internet and make the voices of the people heard as one.
We must get down on our knees and lift up our voices to God to have mercy on us. We must pray in one accord for faith from above to stand up once again for truth, honest and what is right. To teach our children by examples what these values mean. We must seek out men and woman with moral values to replace those Congress members who answer, not to the people who put them in office, but to their own selfish desires of power, greed and corruption.
I call to our nation to the people in the cities, counties and states to return to the values that our parents worked for, went to war for and died for; to stand up in peace with our voices, with our actions, with our prayers and with our votes.
What are you going to do today? Will you continue to sit and complain or will you take the steps to return our nation to the vision that our Forefathers founded this country on?
This is not about black or white, but about one nation that needs to be united together to take back control of the government with the power of our votes as set forth in the constitution of the United States of America.
