Don’t need a credit score

To President Obama:

Please introduce legislation to remove the stipulation of a credit score from the G.I. Bill. This keeps many Vets like myself from using it.

My credit score like many others went down with the present recession and I could really use a G.I. Bill loan. Reverse mortgage and other loans do not require a credit score and neither should the G.I. Bill.

Three neighbors joined the Air force from here, Carl Phillips, Floyd Jones and Jack Jones, and two of the three wee killed in action. No credit score was needed to defend this wonderful country in World War II and all the wars since, and none should be needed now to help us survivors enjoy the few years most of us have.
