Funeral services for Catherine Parker McCullers, 80, of Bainbridge, will be held Saturday, Aug. 1, at 11 a.m. at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stephen L. Webb officiating.

Interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Born Jan. 16, 1929, in Decatur County, Mrs. McCullers died Thursday, July 30, 2009, at Perry Hospital in Perry, Ga.

Mrs. McCullers was a graduate of Pine Hill High School, a homemaker, and a member of First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin A. McCullers; and a granddaughter, Summer Gleaton.

Survivors include three daughters, Elizabeth M. Stewart of Opelika, Ala., Judy M. Carlisle of Perry and Gloria M. Davis of Bainbridge; her son, Edwin McCullers of Bainbridge; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements.
