Johnny Sorrow

Funeral Services for Johnny Floyd Sorrow Jr., 54, of Bainbridge, were held Wednesday, July 29, at New Home Freewill Baptist Church with the Revs. Benny Cumbie and Conrad Salter officiating.
Interment followed in New Home Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Dewayne Sorrow, Randall Foister, Donald Pollock, Steve Brock, Kevin Pollock and Wade Brock serving as active pallbearers.
Born April 22, 1955, in Decatur County, Mr. Sorrow died on Monday, July 27, 2009, at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, Ga.
Mr. Sorrow was a lifelong resident of Decatur County. He was a construction worker in the metal fabrication business. Mr. Sorrow was an outdoors person and loved hunting, fishing and woodworking. He was a member of New Home Freewill Baptist Church No. 2.
Survivors include his daughter, Carolina Machelle Sorrow of McDonough, Ga.; a son, Johnny Dakota of McDonough, Ga.; a sister, Kathy Elizabeth Harrell of Climax; two brothers, Terry Lynn Sorrow of Bainbridge and Timothy Dewayne Sorrow of Whigham, Ga.; 11 aunts and uncles; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Cox-Ware Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements.
