Funeral services for Grace Daphine Palmer McIntyre, 87, of Venice, Fla., formerly of Bainbridge, will be held Tuesday, July 28, at 2 p.m. at Pine Forest Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bruce McCracken officiating.

Interment will follow in the church’s cemetery with Robert E. Bolger, Robert McIntyre, John McIntyre and Wayne Thomas serving as pallbearers.

Born Feb. 1, 1922, in Bainbridge, Mrs. Palmer died on July 23, 2009, at Venice Regional Medical Center. She was raised in Decatur County, lived her married life in Doylestown, Pa., and moved back to Bainbridge after retirement where she lived until 2008 when she moved to Venice, Fla. She was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Mrs. McIntyre was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles McIntyre; and her brother, Eugene Palmer.

Survivors include a daughter, Georgia Lee McIntyre of Venice, Fla.; two sons, John Eugene McIntyre and Robert Linsey McIntyre, both of Doylestown, Pa.; one sister; Christine Bolger of Lenox, Mass.; seven grandchildren and other family and friends.

Cox-Ware Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements.
