Wilson is Cotton States representative

Lance Wilson of Bainbridge has been named a financial representative for Cotton States Insurance.

He recently completed the organization’s New Agent School, which is designed to help agents expand their knowledge of products, systems and sales. The training also focuses on enhancing communication skills and guiding agents toward successfully setting and achieving goals.

Cotton States Insurance has provided quality insurance protection to customers in the southeast since 1941, with products for auto, home and life.

In January 2005, Cotton States became part of the Country Financial group of companies. The relationship with Country allows Cotton States Mutual and its subsidiary, Shield Insurance Company, to share the Country property/casualty group’s A.M. Best rating of A+ (superior). Cotton States Life Insurance Company is rated A- (excellent).

Wilson earned a bachelor’s degree in risk management and insurance from the University of Georgia in Athens in 2004. He is a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and a board member for the Kiwanis Club.
