Coach Ed Pilcher’s Bainbridge High School Bearcats football team will join other area teams from Georgia and Florida at the second annual Georgia-Florida passing camp hosted by the Cairo High School Syrupmakers on Wednesday, July 22, at Cairo’s West Thomas Stadium.

Georgia teams joining the Bearcats and Syrupmakers at camp will be the Thomasville High School Bulldogs and Thomas County Central High School Yellow Jackets.

Attending the camp from Florida will be the Wakulla High School War Eagles and East Gadsden High School Jaguars.

The camp, which will begin at 9 a.m., will be divided into 40-minute segments with each Georgia school throwing against each Florida school.

The host coach is Tom Fallaw, who led his team to the 2008 State Class AAA championship.
