Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Alice Rinehardt, 89, of Chatham, Mass., formerly of Kannapolis, N.C., and Bainbridge, will be privately held.

Born Oct. 22, 1919 in Road Hiss, N.C., Mrs. Rinehardt passed away Friday, July 10 at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis, Mass., following a brief illness.

She was a resident of Bainbridge from 1953 until 1997. She had resided at the Victorian Assisted Living in Chatham for the past seven years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bainbridge.

Mrs. Rinehardt was preceded in death by her husband, Haynes D. Rinehardt; a sister, Winifred Pharr; and a brother, Ray Childers.

Survivors include her daughter, Sue Lindblom of Brewster, Mass., a granddaughter, a great-granddaughter, two nieces, a nephew and other family and friends.

Nickerson Funeral Home in Orleans, Mass., was in charge of funeral arrangements.
