Landing in a lunker
Robert Gainer, right, and his son, Devonte Gainer, left, stand with a 56-pound grass carp they caught at the Earle May Boat Basin on June 29. It took more than 45 minutes for them to bring the fish to shore, and they finally used a rope attached to a truck to land the massive fish when all other efforts were exhausted. They caught the fish using a rod and reel with chicken livers and worms as bait.
