Were you rescued last summer?

As members of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, Dale and Joyce Kramer ride the rivers quite often. Last summer, while at the mouth of the Chattahoochee River, the Kramers spotted a couple that was in need of assistance. Dale Kramer saw that the lady on the boat was holding up a life preserver. It looked like a giant H for help. Indeed, they did need assistance as their engine would not start. The day was very hot and the man on the boat had some health issues and now was feeling ill. Dale and Joyce towed them to Trail’s End and stayed with them until someone arrived that could take them to where they had launched their boat and could help them take it out of the water. We believe that the couple lived on Lake Douglas Road. The Kramers would like to get in touch with them. Please call them at 861-3248 or e-mail them at kramers229@aol.com.
