Funeral services for Edith Jensen, 62, of Bainbridge, will be held Wednesday, July 1, at 11 a.m. at Liberty Baptist Church with the Rev. Milton Harrison and Brother Woodrow Odom officiating.

Interment will follow in the church’s cemetery with Sam Odom, Mitchell Comerford, Joe Brown, Kenneth Godwin, Kim Whitehead and Andrew Heard serving as active pallbearers.

Born Oct. 8, 1946, in Seminole County, Ga., Ms. Jensen died on Sunday, June 28. She lived most of her life on the West Coast and had moved back to Decatur County in 2008. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Ms. Jensen was preceded by her parents, step-father and one brother, Leggett Odom.

Survivors include two sons, Thomas Dow and Travis Dow, both of Oregon; two daughters; Terri Dow of Washington and Lisa Haughney of Oregon; two sisters; Joy Cook and Nora Day, both of Bainbridge; a brother; Larry Harrell of Brinson; numerous grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
