Couldn’t get help

It’s a sad day when a community will not help one of their own.

Picture this: One of your parents has just passed away and you would like to attend the funeral. Your parent does not live near you. You are short on funds to make the trip. Who will help you?

You think about the Community Club who has fund-raisers and say they help others in numbers of ways.

Surely you can count on them for help.

Wrong! What about you’re church? You are faithful and have helped others over the year. Surely they will help. Wrong!

When you get right down to it, your community is filled with people who are self-centered and have an “I, I, Me, Me” mentality. So there you have it.

People, our path here on earth is coming to an end and Jesus’ return is just around the corner.

We all must ask ourselves this question: When you are standing before the Lord looking into his face, will he look upon you and say, “Well done my good and faithful servant,” or will he say, “I never knew you?”
