Time for a TEA party
Published 4:21 pm Tuesday, June 23, 2009
It’s time now, Bainbridge, to let Washington know we are watching how they are spending and giving away our hard-earned money and those of us retired, still working or laid off from productive jobs are hurting now.
Our basic necessities are getting more and more costly, and what news we get out of Washington isn’t lightening our loads. Now is your chance to speak out against this abominable situation before there is nothing left for us, our children and grandchildren.
On July 4, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Bainbridge is having its own TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Party rally at Cheney Griffin Park. This is a peaceful, non-political, get together to show our solidarity in our quest to let Washington and our local representatives know we are serious about the out-of-control spending that is going on there. These Washington bureaucrats don’t live in our reality world.
Let’s respectfully get together and make our voices heard.
Sincerely yours,Barbara SnellBainbridge, Ga.
