Douglas Alan Griffin of Bainbridge received a $1,000 scholarship from the South Atlantic Well Drillers. Griffin will attend Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Ga. Griffin was sponsored for the regional scholarship competition by Griffin Well Drilling LLC, a well drilling firm that is a member of the Georgia Association of Groundwater Professionals.
