Funeral services for James Wesley Middleton, 66, of Ashburn, Ga., formerly of Donalsonville, Ga., will be held Wednesday, June 3, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with the Rev. James Scarborough officiating.

Interment will follow in the Calvary Assembly of God Church cemetery in Brinson.

Born Dec. 8, 1942, in Albany, Ga., Mr. Middleton died on Friday, May 29, 2009.

Mr. Middleton served in the U.S. Navy, was a retired police officer from the Thomasville, Ga., police department and was also a member of the American Legion’s Tifton chapter.

Survivors include a brother, Charles L. Middleton of Moultrie, Ga.
