Funeral services for Mary D. McPhatter, 76, of Blountstown, Fla., will be held Monday, May 18, at 11 a.m. CST at the Bibleway Church of God in Christ in Blountstown with Elder R.L. Daney officiating.

Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Blountstown with friends of the family serving as active pallbearers.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 17, from 2 to 7 p.m. at Chandler’s Funeral Home in Attapulgus.

Born Feb. 17, 1923, in Blountstown, Fla., Mrs. McPhatter died on May 12, 2009, at Bay Medical Center in Panama City, Fla.

A lifelong resident of Blountstown, Mrs. McPhatter was a homemaker and a member of Bibleway Church of God In Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ned Davis.

Survivors include two sons, Nathaniel Davis of Blountstown and Isiah Davis of Panama City; five daughters, Nettie Johnson of Moss Point, Miss., Dorothy Tobias of Panama City, Redeall Brogram of Blountstown, Mary Greer of Niceville, Fla., and Belinda Brown of Tampa, Fla.; nephews, nieces, cousins, church friends and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Chandler’s Funeral Home in Attapulgus is in charge of funeral arrangements.
