The following cases and sentences were handled during the recent adjourned November term 2008 session of Superior Court of Decatur County.

 Anthony Curtis Wright, pleaded guilty (PG) burglary, eight months incarceration, six years and four months probated, $1,500;

 Keven Leon Sutton Jr., PG burglary, six months incarceration, nine years and six months probated, $1,500;

 Eleazar Saldivar Guzman, PG aggravated assault, two years incarceration, 13 years probated, $2,000; NP attempt to commit a felony;

 Fidercio Lerma Machuca, PG aggravated assault, two years incarceration, 13 years probated, $2,000; NP attempt to commit a felony;

 Thurman Franklin Nerren, PG theft by receiving stolen property, 12 months incarceration, nine years probated, $1,000;

 Robert Lee Harden, PG sexual battery, 12 months incarceration consecutive with current sentence;

 Jeremy Cecil Tomberlin, PG forgery, five years probated, $1,000;

 Aaron Dewayne Neal Jr., PG burglary, 10 years probated, $1,000;

 Brandy Leigh Temples, PG forgery, 10 years probated, $2,000; PG forgery, 10 years probated consecutive with prior sentence, sentence suspended upon payment of fine from prior sentence; NP forgery (36 counts);

 Dennis Ketch, PG theft by taking, 10 years probated, $2,500;

 Ladawn Demetrius Edwards, PG attempt to commit a felony, seven years probated, $2,000;

 Marianna Starr Hughes, PG forgery, five years probated, $2,000;

 Michael Knight, PG theft by taking, 12 months incarceration, nine years probated, $2,000;

 James Earl Keaton, found guilty of burglary, 20 years incarceration; found guilty possession of tools for commission of a crime, five years incarceration consecutive with prior sentence; found not guilty violation of Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act; NP possession of a firearm by a convicted felon (two counts);

 Titus Leon Harris, PG failure to register as a sex offender, 10 years incarceration, 10 years probated;

 David Lee Edwards, PG armed robbery, 15 years incarceration; PG reckless conduct, pleaded down from cruelty to children, 12 months incarceration to serve concurrent with prior sentence; NP possession of a firearm during commission of a crime (two counts), criminal use of article with altered identification mark;
