James Mock

Funeral services for James William Mock, 58, of Thomasville, Ga., were held Monday, May 11, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Nichols officiating.
Interment followed at White’s Bridge Cemetery near Colquitt. The Patriot Guard Riders served as honorary pallbearers.
Born Oct. 17, 1950 in Colquitt, Ga., Mr. Mock died Friday, May 8, at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a truck driver, and an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter W. Mock, and a sister, Lawanna Diane Mock.
Survivors include his mother, Inez Addison Mock of Thomasville; his wife, Maria Mock of Thomasville; four sons, James Mock and Nathan Mock, both of Detroit, Mich., Brad Mock and Steven Mock, both of Thomasville; four daughters, Valerie McQuate of Orlando, Fla., Angela Stoudenmire of Clermont, Fla., Crystal Mock of Detroit, Mich., and Aurora Mock of Thomasville, Ga.; three brothers, Wayne Mock of Clearwater, Fla., Mike Mock and David Mock, both of Thomasville; four sisters, Elaine Sheffield of Lakeland, Fla., Shirley Thomas of Thomasville, Debbie Tanner of Blakely, Ga., and Teresa Barber of Ochlocknee, Ga.; and 10 grandchildren.
Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
