A 100-gallon Florida Flame Maple was planted at Potter Street Elementary School on April 21 to commemorate Earth Day. During the tree planting, John B. Sanfilippo and Sons recognized Michaela Calhoun for her drawing about Earth Day. From the left are Bill Schwahn of Sanfilippo, Calhoun and Nancy Barbree, also of Sanfilippo. Calhoun’s class was present two $25 Wal-Mart gift cards, which will be used to help beautify the school grounds.
