In January, Chloe Elizabeth Babcock of Suwanee, Ga., received an appointment to the U.S. Air Force Academy. She aspires to become a combat pilot. Babcock is the daughter of Christine and Steven Babcock of Suwanee, Ga., and the granddaughter of Valda and Leon Babcock of Bainbridge. She was named after her great-grandmother, Chloe Elizabeth Newberry, also of Bainbridge.
