Graveside services for Pansy H. Evans, 92, Whigham, Ga., will be Wednesday, May 6, at 11 a.m. at Tired Creek Cemetery in Cairo, Ga., with the Rev. Leon VanLandingham officiating.

Born March 28, 1917, in Whigham, Mrs. Evans died Monday, May 4, 2009, at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge.

Mrs. Evans was retired from W.B. Roddenberry Company and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Adford Evans; a brother, Roy C. Hand; and a sister, Pauline Newberry.

Survivors include a daughter, Rhudeen Harrison of Whigham; a son, Lawson R. Evans of Artesia, N.M.; a sister, Annie Mae French, and five grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at graveside immediately following the service.

Clark Funeral Home in Cairo is in charge of funeral arrangements.
