Funeral services for Abbie Sue Harrell Green Dukes, 86, of Bainbridge, will be held Wednesday, April 29, at Morningside Baptist Church with the Revs. Leon VanLandingham and Conrad Salter officiating.

Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Vada with Richard Green, Harold Green, Nelson Harrell, Larry Harrell, Paul Dukes Baker and Tommy Avery serving as active pallbearers.

Born Oct. 17, 1922, in Decatur County, Mrs. Dukes died on Sunday, April 26, at her residence.

She was a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School, Class 1942, was a homemaker and a member of Morningside Baptist Church. Mrs. Dukes was preceded in death by her former husband, Grady Green, and her son, Larry Green.

Survivors include her husband, Homer Dukes of Bainbridge; her son, Randall Green of Moultrie, Ga.; her daughter, Glenda Green Cross of Bainbridge; her sister, May Bell Green of Bainbridge; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
