Funeral services for Janice W. Cook, 73, of Colquitt, Ga., will be Saturday, April 25, at 11 a.m. at Cooks Union Methodist Church with the Rev. Billy Mills officiating.
Interment will follow at Cooks Cemetery with grandchildren serving as honorary pallbearers.
Born on April 4, 1936, in Dale County, Ala., Mrs. Cook died on Wednesday, April 22, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center.
Mrs. Cook was a homemaker and retired florist. She was a member of the Cooks Union Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Oliver Don Cook of Colquitt; three daughters, Donna Cook of Tallahassee, Fla., Cindy Gould of Colquitt, and Kay Rogers of Bainbridge, Ga.; four sisters, Norma Durham of Tallahassee, Sue McDaniel of Damascus, Ga., Margie Mancil and Karen Williams, both of Boykin, Ga.; two brothers, Sherell Williams and James Williams, both of Colquitt; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Colquitt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
