To keep the attachments for his shop vacuum organized, Club member Alan Prevett of Marengo, Iowa, built a vacuum-mounted organizer from scrap lumber and short lengths of PVC pipe. He used a jigsaw to cut a ring of plywood that would fit around the base of the vacuum. Then he cut various lengths of 1-1/2-in. PVC pipe, glued a PVC end cap to one end of each length, and bolted the completed sections through their end caps to the plywood ring. Now his vacuum attachments are always within easy reach.
