Outstanding Georgia Southern University students were recognized at the annual Honors Day ceremony that was recently held on the university’s campus. Individual awards were presented to 156 students at the ceremony, which is a way for the university to recognize some of Georgia Southern’s best and brightest students, as well as their families. Students from Bainbridge who received awards were Ava Conger, English Award; Merrie Lumpkin, John F. Nolen Student Government Association Scholarship, and Patrick Seafield, Foreign Language Award-German.
