Shaw Industries announced it is closing its spun yarn facility in Calhoun, Ga., and its filament yarn location in Valdosta. The company has a facility at the Decatur County Industrial Park and is not affected by those plant closings. About 400 employee will be affected at the Calhoun facility and 200 at the Valdosta plant.
