Mildred Ritchie

Funeral services for Mildred Smith Ritchie, 83, of Iron City, Ga., were on Thursday, April 9, at the First Church of the Nazarene in Donalsonville, Ga., with the Rev. Eric Boomer officiating.
Interment followed at Corinth Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Iron City, Ga., with Kevin Gohman, Peter Buch, Johnnie Temples, James McCraw, Richard Clayton and Phillip Pack serving as active pallbearers.
Born in Schuylkill Haven, Pa., on June 15, 1925, Mrs. Ritchie died on Monday, April 6, 2009, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center.
She was a member of Iron City United Methodist Church and a homemaker,
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ritchie.
She is survived by four daughters, Barbara Miller of Brinson, Ga., Carolyn Clancey of Athens, Ga., Connie Barber of Iron City, Ga., and Sharon Phillips of Donalsonville, Ga.; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
