Funeral services for Harry C. Hooten, 54, of Richmond Hill, Ga., formerly of Bainbridge, Ga., will be Tuesday, March 31, beginning at 11 a.m. at Richmond Hill Funeral Home.
There will also be graveside services on Wednesday, April 1, beginning at 2 p.m. at Oak City Cemetery in Bainbridge.
Born in Bainbridge, Ga., Mr. Hooten died on Friday, March 27, 2009, at his residence.
Mr. Hooten was a graduate of Georgia Southern University where he was a member of Kappa Alpha. He worked in Savannah for Georgia Federal Bank, Ford Motor Credit Company and from 1999 until present he was a bank officer for First Bank of Coastal Georgia in Richmond Hill. He was a member of the board of directors for the Richmond Hill Chamber of Commerce and was very active each year with the seafood festival. He loved to hunt and fish. Mr. Hooten was a Methodist.
He was preceded in death by a brother, James Clifford Hooten III, and a niece, Melissa Caplan.
Survivors include a sister, Suzanne Mills of Bainbridge; a nephew, Jason Mills of Bainbridge; and nieces, Jalyn Mills and Erin Caplan, both of Bainbridge.
Richmond Hill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
