The date for the annual Shellcracker Festival has been set for April 25. The festival is sponsored by the Lake Seminole Lions Club and will be held at Spring Creek Park Resort. At last year’s event, approximately 145 hit the waters, fishing for shellcrackers and about 1,500 patrons visited the many vendors and booths that were set up. The Lake Seminole Lions Club is asking for sponsors so they can continue to give back to the community. The deadline to become a sponsor is March 30.
