Funeral services for Calvin E. Dollar, 83, of Bainbridge, will be Saturday, March 28, at 2 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church with the Rev. Stanley Phillips officiating.

Interment will follow at 4 p.m. with a private graveside service at Pinecrest Memory Gardens in Pelham, Ga., with Kenneth Cloud officiating.

Born on April 30, 1925, in Grady County, Mr. Dollar died on Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at his residence.

Mr. Dollar was a graduate of Pelham High School and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Dollar was a retired insurance agent and manager with Liberty National Life Insurance Company and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Jenelle Richardson Dollar of Bainbridge, Ga.; his son, Calvin E. Dollar Jr. and his wife, Diana, of Broken Arrow, Okla.; his daughter, Carolyn Glisson and her husband, Allen, of Bainbridge; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
