Brenda Gail Hughes Kelly, 52, of Bainbridge died on Monday, March 16, 2009, at Archbold Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Born on April 5, 1956 in Decatur County, Ms. Kelly spent most of her life in Decatur County. She was a homemaker and loved to cook. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Hughes.

She is survived by her mother, Betty J. Elkins Hughes of Bainbridge; a daughter, Maranda Justice of Bainbridge; three sons, Christopher “Woody” Hughes of Port St. Joe, Fla., Billy Levi Kelly and Dustin Justice Kelly, both of Bainbridge; three sisters, Cindy Putnal of LaGrange, Ga., Teresa Hughes of Colquitt, Ga., and Betty Jo Howell of Bainbridge, Ga.; a brother, Robert “Bobby” Hughes of Bainbridge; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Cox-Ware Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
