Funeral services for Florene Howell Wells, 79, of Bainbridge, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2009, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donna Sue Roberts officiating.

Interment will follow at Sylvania Cemetery with Corey Wells, Brad Wells, Al Murkerson, Brian Donalson, Steven Wells and Jody Wells serving as active pallbearers.

Memorial donations, in her memory, may be made to Faceville Methodist Church, c/o Catherine Olivent, 3153 Faceville Hwy., Bainbridge, GA 39819.

Born March 14, 1929, in Bainbridge, Mrs. Wells died on Wednesday, March 11, 2009, in Bainbridge.

Mrs. Wells was a graduate of the former Faceville High School and retired with more than 20 years of service as corporate secretary with Stone’s. She was a former member of Sylvania Methodist Church and was most recently a member of Faceville Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Wells.

Survivors include her son, Tony Wells of Bainbridge; her daughter, Debra Lane of Donalsonville, Ga.; two grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
