Rosa Lee Dorsey, 89, of Carlsbad, Calif., died at her residence on Feb. 20, 2009.

She was interned at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego, Calif., and a private memorial service was held at the cemetery. Mrs. Dorsey loved to be outside in her garden. She was preceded in death by husband, Frank, who died in 2000.

She is survived by a son, James Dorsey; two daughters, Nancy Wells and Katrina Bodiroga; two brothers, Devaughn Kendrick of Leslie, Ga., and James Bowen Kendrick of Climax, Ga.; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Accu-Care Cremation Center in Carlsbad, Calif., was in charge of arrangements.
