Funeral services for Ronald “Ronnie” Richard Pettis, 68, of Macon, Ga., were held Wednesday, Feb., 25, in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home in Macon, Ga., with Dr. Mike Stevens officiating.

Interment followed in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Pettis died on Feb. 23, 2009. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base as a firefighter, and was also a business owner.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald Lee Pettis and Jerry Little, both of Suwanee, Ga.; two daughters, Shannon Michelle Lewis of Trussville, Ala., and Cheryle Wolfenbarger of Macon, Ga.; two sisters, Barbara Inman of Bainbridge and Jananne Cheshire of Irmo, S.C.; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

 Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery was in charge of arrangements.
