Funeral services for Stacey Ray Crawford, 35, of Cairo, Ga., will be held Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 3 p.m. at Eastside Baptist Church in Cairo, with the Rev. Dr. Paul Jones officiating.

Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery with Mark Herring, Steve Hancock, David Poole, Michael Maxwell, Bo Harrell, Scott Trulock, Rick Harrell, John Jackson and William Herring serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, Feb. 23, at Heritage Funeral Home.
Born on Feb. 10, 1974, in Cairo, Ga., Mr. Crawford died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009, at Grady General Hospital. He was an electrical engineer employed at Shaw Industries in Bainbridge. He attended Eastside Baptist Church.

Crawford is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Greer Crawford; his parents, Raiford and Irene Crawford; two stepchildren, Lawson and Maggie Womble, all of Cairo; two sisters, Robin Glass of Albany, Ga., and Lynn Stevens of El Paso, Texas, and nieces and nephews.

Heritage Funeral Home in Cairo is in charge of arrangements.
