U.S. Rep. Sanford Bishop, D-Albany, will be featured at the annual Bainbridge College Black History Month Convocation on Friday, Feb. 20. The event is open to the public at no charge. Sponsored by the Student Government Association, the event will start at noon in the Charles H. Kirbo Regional Center Auditorium. It is expected to run 45 minutes to one hour and will include music with Charlie Strickland. This is one in a series of presentations for Black History Month, said Student Activities Director David Price. Events got underway with performances by the dynamic Florida African Dance Troupe on Feb. 3 in the Student Center.
