Funeral services for Henrietta White Patterson, 102, of Miller County, Ga., were held Sunday, Feb. 15, in the chapel of Guyton Brothers Funeral Home with Brother Robert White officiating.

Interment followed at White’s Bridge Cemetery in Miller County with relatives and friends serving as active pallbearers.

Mrs. Patterson was born August 31, 1906, in Decatur County, Ga. She died on Feb. 11, 2009, at Miller County Hospital in Colquitt, Ga.

Mrs. Patterson was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were five sisters, two brothers and a daughter, Carrie House.

Survivors include a son, Noah Patterson Jr.; a sister, Willie Mae Kimble; a special grandson who took care of her until death, Alvern Murrell Sr.; four other grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren, five great-great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Guyton Brothers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
