Funeral services for Kenneth “Kenny” Boyd, 51, of Brinson, will be held Friday, Feb. 13, at 10 a.m. at Bethany Baptist Church, with the Rev. Donna Bevels officiating.

Interment will follow in the church’s cemetery.

Born Jan. 3, 1958, Mr. Boyd died on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, Ala.

He was a lifelong resident of Decatur County and followed the Freewill Baptist faith. He worked in maintenance at Propex.

Mr. Boyd was preceded in death by two brothers, Donnie Boyd and Johnny Ben Boyd; and a nephew, Shawn Boyd.

Survivors include two brothers, Paul Boyd of McCalla, Ala., and Alan Boyd of Colquitt, Ga.; nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.
