Joshua C. Bell of Bainbridge, president of the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia, served as co-host of “A Conversation about Bar Leadership and Our Profession,” a gathering of public-spirited bar leaders from across southwest Georgia that was sponsored by the State Bar of Georgia at its Tifton office on Jan. 16. “Our objective for this leadership conference was to explore how the State Bar and the local bars of Southwest Georgia can work together to do a better job of serving the public and our members,” said State Bar President Jeffrey O. Bramlett. The State Bar of Georgia was established in 1964 by the Supreme Court of Georgia. All lawyers licensed to practice in Georgia belong to the State Bar, which numbers are 40,000 members.
