Funeral services for Ronald C. “Ronnie” Huggins, 58, of Donalsonville, Ga., were held Tuesday, Feb. 10, at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville with the Rev. Eric Boomer officiating.
Interment followed at Friendship Memorial Garden in Donalsonville with Andy Alday, Keith Gandy, Dennis Pugh, Walter Hotlingsworth, Ronnie Shiver and Bruce Phillips serving as pallbearers.
Born in Jacksonville, Fla., on Nov. 26, 1950, Mr. Huggins died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009, at his residence.
Mr. Huggins worked at Georgia Pacific as a heavy equipment operator. He was an avid gun enthusiast; a Georgia Bulldog fan and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include his wife Joyce Huggins; a son, Ronald Craig Huggins Jr. of Donalsonville; two brothers, Leon Huggins of Pearland, Texas, and Gary Huggins of Suwanee, Ga.; an uncle and one niece.
Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville was in charge of arrangements.
