Cecil Stanley Shiver, 56, of Brinson, Ga., died Friday, Feb. 6, 2009, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan.

There will be no public services for Mr. Shiver. His remains will be cremated.

Born Jan. 10, 1953, in Decatur County, Ga., Mr. Shiver worked for many years doing hydraulic work before becoming disabled. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Roy Williams, Kenneth Williams and Earl Alien Williams.

Mr. Shiver is survived by two brothers, Darrell Williams of Brinson and Emory S. Williams of Tallahassee, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Janice Williams of Donalsonville, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements.
