Floy DeVries

Funeral services for Floy L. Hall DeVries, 87, of Bainbridge, were held Sunday, Feb. 1, at the First Church of God in Bainbridge with the Rev. Donna Bevels officiating.
Interment followed in the Black Jack Baptist Church Cemetery with Terry Inlow, Ricky Inlow, Chip Hall, Chris Hall, Jonathan Hall, Pharis Hall, Dereck Hall, Brian Hall, Justin Hall, Cody Pace and Tyler Pace serving as pallbearers.
Born Aug. 7, 1921, in Miller County, Ga., Mrs. DeVries died on Jan. 30, 2009, at her residence in the Black Jack community.
She was an active member of the First Church of God and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Leslie Ivey Hall and Henry DeVries.
Survivors include three sisters, Latrilla Privett of Colquitt, Kathleen Hatcher of Bainbridge and Billie Ann Hardgroder of Beaumont, Texas; four daughters, Elaine Inlow of Bainbridge, Linda Owens of Sasser, Ga., Marie Jennett of Tucson, Ariz., and Alice Brown of Panama City, Fla.; five sons, Windell Hall of Climax, Vance Hall, Bruce Hall, Ronnie Hall and Curtis Hall, all of Bainbridge; 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Cox-Ware Funeral Home.
