Registration for the Decatur/Grady Head Start Child Development Center continues from now to Friday, Feb. 20, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the center located at 215 School Road in Climax. Children eligible for Head Start are preschool children ages 3 and 4. Children with disabilities are also eligible. At registration you must bring a certified copy of the child’s birth certificate, a Child Care Certificate (shot records), Medicaid card (if applicable), if the child has disabilities (IEP Referral), proof of income: Preferably 2008 income tax return, a check stub, statement form DFCS, a notarized statement from an employer or a W-2 form, a hearing and vision check from doctor or Health Department and your child’s Lead Test Results from their 18-month check-up.
