For the first time in years, the Memorial Hospital and Manor Foundation has extra tickets for sale to its annual Gala benefiting Memorial Hospital and Manor.
Gala XX will be held on Thursday, Feb. 12, at the Kirbo Regional Center at Bainbridge College, allowing sufficient space for additional seating, which was not possible at previous venues.
Contributions for the Gala are made through ticket purchases of $175 per person or $350 per couple and through silent auction and live auction items. The Memorial Hospital and Manor Foundation has raised approximately $900,000 from generous community contributions during the Gala’s 19 years to fund special equipment purchases for the hospital.
Foundation Chairman Jane Conger said preparations are now complete for the annual black-tie extravaganza, which will include an elegant dinner, musical entertainment, and both a silent and live auction.
Memorial Hospital and Manor Dining Services Director Suzan Yates and her staff will serve an elegant dinner beginning with canapés, crme asparagus soup and spinach salad with hot bacon dressing.
Gala patrons will then enjoy an entrée of rack of lamb with mint glaze, harvest rice pilaf, stuffed fire roasted sweet pepper, snow peas with citrus butter, petite croissant and pyramid noisette for dessert.
Aaron Seiler and the Ravel Quartet, a string quarter from the Florida State University, will provide musical entertainment during the silent auction, beginning at 6 p.m.
