There’s a new party place in Bainbridge that many children are sure to love.

The West Bainbridge Fire Station on Spring Creek Road will be available for children’s birthday parties beginning Feb. 7. The space is available for rental in two-hour blocks and available each weekend on Saturday and Sunday. Party tables, firefighter party favors and a real fire truck and siren display are included in the rental fee.

“We found that a number of fire stations have children’s birthday parties,” Bainbridge City Manager Chris Hobby said. “We can just pull the fire trucks out of the bays and that space, as well as a training room, become available.”

The cost to rent out the fire station depends on the size of the party. Parties for one to 10 children can be done for $25; larger parties with 11 to 20 children cost $50.
