Christopher M. Mackey was recently promoted to the rank of airman first class in the U.S. Air Force. Mackey, a cargo processing apprentice, is assigned to the 436th Aerial Port Squadron at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware. He is the son of Sharon D. Peoples of Camilla, Ga. Mackey is a 2007 graduate of Mitchell-Baker High School in Camilla.
