Henry Neal

Funeral services for Henry Neal, 94, of Climax, Ga., will be Jan. 24, at 11 a.m. at the Mount Moriah No. 1 Missionary Baptist Church located at 192 Kelley Collins Road in Climax with the Revs. Douglas Barber and John Neal officiating.

Interment will follow at Conyers Cemetery in Climax with Lecious McNair Jr., Brian Hines, James Corker Sr., Ellis Neal, James Spears and Randy Ervin serving as pallbearers.

Born on Sept. 15, 1914, Mr. Neal was a farmer, carpenter and barber. He served in World War II. He was a member of Mount Moriah No. 1 Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ester Kelley Neal, and two sons, Charles Neal and Willie B. Neal.

Survivors include a son, John Walter Neal of Climax; a daughter, Henrietta Oliver of Climax; a sister-in-law, Maggie West; seven grandchildren, 17 grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, a special niece, Eunice Corker, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Melton Mortuary in Attapulgus is in charge of arrangements.
