I would like to say “Thank You” to the entire community that helped make the community blood drive, held in conjunction with the kick-off of Team Lean, a success.

The original goal was 30 units and that had been adjusted to 50 units based on pre-registration.

With the help of the Team Lean staff, Memorial Hospital, YMCA, local businesses, Bainbridge Mall staff, local media, Southeast Community Blood Center and most of all the actual blood donors, 86 donors were screened and 73 units of blood were collected.

This response was incredible for this time of the year.
